OM ZPIRE

Zpire Ltd er et britiskregistrert selskap med norskregistrert avdeling i Lillestrøm. Vi drifter kontorlokaler og enkle laboratoriefasiliteter i Norge. Avanserte laboratorieanalyser foretas ved laboratoret i Tyskland.


I over 20 år vi hatt et faglig samarbeid med IAF Radioökologie GmbH, et tysk laboratorium som er blant verdens ledende innen radioaktivitetsanalyser. Sammen med IAF kan vi levere akkrediterte analyser av de fleste naturlige og kunstige radionuklider i vann, næringsmidler, biota, sedimenter og fast stoff.


Vi hjelper også flere av våre kunder med samtidig analyse av andre parametre som for eksempel innhold av TOC, tungmetaller med mer.

EN SPIN-OFF FRA IFE PÅ KJELLER

Zpire har røtter tilbake til miljøselskapet Yera AS (1999) og NORM-selskapet Norse Decom AS (2001).


Norse Decom AS er en knoppskyting fra IFE (Institutt for energiteknikk) på Kjeller. Selskapet ble opprettet for å utvikle kommersielle NORM-tjenester rettet mot det gryende dekommisjonsmarkedet offshore.


IFE var hovedeier fra 2001-2015.

Senere ble virksomhetene slått sammen og videreført under navnet Zpire (uttales spire).

Vi har analysert over 17.000 NORM-prøver og gjort mer enn 100.000 kvantifiseringer av radionuklider i Norge

Per er faglig leder og senior rådgiver i selskapet. Han har doktorgrad i naturmiljøkjemi og har bakgrunn som seniorforsker og seksjonsleder fra Institutt for energiteknikk (IFE). Per har de siste 20 årene etablert seg som spesialist innen feltet NORM og radioaktivt avfall, først som gründer av Norse Decom AS, der IFE var hovedeier i 14 år, og som nå drives under navnet Zpire.
